Over a period of ten years, more than 20 research monographs were art directed, designed, and illustrated for The Barna Group, a leading Christian research organization. Collaborating with the editorial team, complex and extensive data sets were transformed into visually compelling narratives for monographs, websites, and publications.


The design approach prioritized clarity and accessibility, employing clean layouts, cohesive color palettes, and intuitive infographics. Each publication was tailored to its intended audience, presenting dense research findings in a format that was both engaging and understandable. This consistent visual strategy reinforced Barna’s reputation for delivering insightful, actionable data.


The resulting body of work not only elevated the presentation of research but also achieved recognition within the industry, with several monographs nominated for editorial awards. The project demonstrates how strategic design and art direction can make data both comprehensible and visually impactful.
